What you said
So, uh, this week is a lot. The client deck is due Thursday, that's the big one, and I need the Q3 numbers from Sam first. Two interviews on — I think — Tuesday and Wednesday. Basically I keep pushing the expense report, like, just do it Monday morning. Um, and keep Thursday morning free for the deck.
Ums, false starts and tangents are fine. That's how thinking sounds.

You to Sam
Hey Sam! Could you send me the Q3 numbers? I need them for the client deck, which is due Thursday. Thanks 🙏

Um, okay. Today was kind of a mixed day. I was anxious all morning about the presentation, like, couldn't focus at all. But it actually went fine? People asked good questions. I don't know, I think I worry too much before things. Walked home instead of taking the bus, that helped. Grateful for Mum's call tonight.

Tuesday evening
I spent the morning anxious about the presentation and couldn't focus at all. It went fine in the end, and people asked good questions. I think I worry too much before things. Walking home instead of taking the bus helped, and I'm grateful for Mum's call tonight.

Okay so, um — Mum's sixtieth is on the 14th. A surprise dinner at Luigi's? Wait, no, they're closed on Sundays, so Saturday the 13th. The cousins and her book club, like twenty people, about fifty a head. Priya can do a photo slideshow. I'll book by Friday. Oh and keep it out of the family chat!

Next step: book Luigi's by Friday 🤫
Subject
Hi both, here's the plan for Mum's surprise dinner: Saturday the 13th at Luigi's (they're closed on Sundays), about 20 of us, around $50 a head.
Priya, could you make a photo slideshow? I'll book the table by Friday. Not a word in the family chat!
🎉 Surprise dinner for Mum's 60th! Sat 13th at Luigi's, ~20 of us, ~$50 each.
Priya's on slideshow duty 📸 I'll book by Friday. Shh, not a word in the family chat 🤫
A custom style: “short, friendly, like a text”
How it works
Say it the way it's in your head: half-sentences, tangents, “wait, no”. Up to 30 minutes at a time.
You get a clear note with a title, written from your own words. The original transcript stays one tap away.
Rewrite it as a summary, email or post. Translate it, tag it, share it, or export it.
Features
Built for people who think out loud and want something useful at the end of it.
Turn one note into a summary, a LinkedIn post or anything you describe in a custom style. Choose how long it is and how much Gabbly changes.
Record a conversation and Gabbly separates the voices. Name each speaker once and the transcript reads like a script.
Talk in any of 22 languages and get your note in any of 28. Translate any note later, too.
Your most recently used tags sit up top. Everything else is a search away.
Teach Gabbly the names, brands and jargon you use, and it spells them the way you do.
Bad signal? Your recording is saved on your phone and transcribed as soon as you're back online. Nothing you say gets lost.
Can't talk right now? Type or paste instead. Already have a voice memo or audio file? Bring it in and Gabbly writes it up.
Share a note straight from the app, export it as Markdown or PDF, or save the original audio.
Multilingual
Speak naturally in any of 22 languages, or let Gabbly work out which one. Get your note in any of 28.
Privacy
Voice notes are personal. Gabbly is built to collect as little as it can and keep it for as short as it can.
Before your first note, Gabbly tells you exactly what's sent where, and waits for your OK.
Your audio and notes are processed only to write your notes. Our AI providers don't use them to train models.
Recordings are kept for 30 days so you can play them back, then deleted automatically. Your notes stay until you delete them.
Delete your account from Settings and everything in it goes with it: notes, audio, tags, all of it.

FAQ
Gabbly is an iPhone app that turns voice notes into writing. You talk the way you think, and Gabbly writes a clear note from what you said, which you can then rewrite as a summary, email or post, translate, tag and share.
Dictation types exactly what you say, ums and all, and you still have to tidy it up. Gabbly listens to the whole ramble and writes a clean version of it. The word-for-word transcript is always kept too, so nothing is lost.
Gabbly writes from your own words, not from scratch. You choose how much it rewrites (a light tidy-up through to a full rewrite) and how long the result should be, and you can edit any note.
You can speak English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Catalan, Czech, Danish, Finnish, Greek, Hungarian, Norwegian, Polish, Romanian, Swedish, Turkish, Ukrainian, Hindi, Japanese, Russian, or let Gabbly detect the language. Notes can be written in 28 languages, so you can speak in one and read in another.
Up to 2 minutes on the free plan and up to 30 minutes on paid plans. Imported audio files follow the same limits.
No. Gabbly uses AI providers to transcribe your audio and write your notes, and they don't use your data to train their models. Gabbly asks for your permission before anything is processed. The privacy policy names every provider.
Audio is stored securely for 30 days so you can play it back, then deleted automatically. Your transcript and notes stay until you delete them or your account.
You can record anywhere. Without a connection Gabbly saves the recording on your phone and transcribes it as soon as you're back online.
